The Keystone State’s blossoming sports betting industry has welcomed yet another operator. After a very long wait, Caesars Entertainment, one of the most popular gaming brands on the planet, will be officially launching an online sportsbook after the soft-launch phase elapses.

Caesars Online Sportsbook, the new digital sportsbook, launched its testing phase on March 10. It has since been running for a limited number of hours as it is tested. Once everything is ascertained to be operating the way that it should be, the digital sports betting platform will receive the necessary approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).

Players who wish to participate in the testing of the new sportsbook can access the platform on their desktops or their Android-powered devices. There are plans in place for the launch of a native iOS application but this will probably come later after the sportsbook gets the green light to kick off full operations.

High Hopes

The soft launch of the Caesars Online Sportsbook will come to an end on March 12 at noon. As mentioned earlier, if no serious problems arise by then, the gaming control board will grant it permission to move forward with full operations. Caesars Entertainment’s officials are very confident about their chances since they have been working very hard to get the platform off the ground. They made sure to make everything just the way it should be.

“Caesars Entertainment is the leader in legalized and regulated gaming in the US, and this online sports betting launch in Pennsylvania is an exciting expansion given the incredible number of sports fans across the state.”

Christian Stuart, the Executive Vice President of Gaming and Interactive for Caesars Entertainment.

They certainly came prepared. Players participating in the testing of the platform can already get a taste of the amazing features that are in store. These include the enticing loyalty program which allows the players to earn and redeem loyalty points across all of the operator’s gaming brands. How amazing is that?

Just in Time for an Avalanche of Sporting Events

If everything goes to plan, the Caesars Online Sportsbook’s permanent operation could begin as early as March 13 which is just in time for the sports events that are about to start. Perhaps the most notable upcoming sporting event series will be the NCAA basketball tournament which is will attract lots of sports fans and bettors.

Needless to say, the competition will be stiff but Caesars has enough expertise and resources to survive in that market. The most important thing is that now Pennsylvanian bettors have even more options when it comes to online gambling platforms.
