After months of hinting at a possible partnership, Kambi Group and Parx Casino owner, Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment have finally unveiled a multi-year partnership agreement for sports betting in the Commonwealth. This is perhaps one of the more lucrative partnerships that have been crafted in the state as it prepares to launch its long-awaited sports betting and online casino industry.

As per the terms of the partnership agreement, Kambi will be providing its sports betting platform, a range of managed services as well as its renowned land-based wagering expertise to Parx Casino. These will be later complemented by the launch of a Parx Casino-branded online sportsbook. Parx Casino has plans to officially launch its land-based sportsbook before the end of the year, and this will be followed by the launch of its online offering which will be in partnership with GAN and Kambi – the former will be providing player account management services while the latter will be responsible for all things gaming.

Kambi, which is a European business-facing casino operator has had its sights set on the expanding U.S. gaming market for quite some time now and the partnership with Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment that will extend to New Jersey is a great way for them to make an entrance into that market.

“Greenwood Gaming represents yet another exciting partnership for Kambi, as we continue to establish ourselves as the premier choice for operators looking to enter the US sports wagering market with a quality product and trusted partner,” Kambi chief executive Kristian Nylén said. “Greenwood Gaming is committed to delivering exciting gaming experiences to players in a safe and responsible fashion, therefore, when deciding to launch a sportsbook, Kambi quickly became the natural choice and I’m confident we will form a successful partnership.”

In a recent press release, Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s chief technology officer, John Dixon, pointed out that the company’s decision to partner with Kambi is certainly bound to pay off in a major way. He described the company as “an experienced, successful sportsbook partner that can bring best-in-class systems and odds making to the Parx-branded sports betting products.” In addition to that, he expressed confidence in Kambi’s systems, citing their ability to provide “timely, secure and accurate” betting services to their vast range of land-based and online customers.

As mentioned earlier, Kambi will also be supporting Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s venture into the New Jersey gaming market where it (Kambi) has already seen quite a bit of success – Kambi supplies close to 70 percent of New Jersey’s humongous sports betting industry. Greenwood Gaming plans to take its sportsbook operations to the neighboring state of New Jersey and it will be leveraging the Kambi Group’s clean record of regulatory compliance and corporate probity to secure a sports betting license in the state.
