Renowned gaming and entertainment operator Penn National Gaming has been very busy preparing for the launch of its Barstool Sportsbook which is has been operating in beta since September 15. Now, the gambling operator is proceeding with more plans that are to make the new sports betting offering even better for its Pennsylvanian customers.

The latest move in that regard involved a newly inked partnership between Penn National Gaming and GTG Network, a very popular sports gamification, and content provider. As per the terms of the new partnership, GTG Network’s very robust and innovative iSports Genius data insights as well as its top-notch sports content will be integrated into the Barstool Sportsbook mobile app.

GTG Network’s iSports Genius platform will give the new sportsbook a huge edge over competing sports betting offerings in the state. This is all thanks to the fact that it is capable of leveraging tons of data while producing more than 20,000 facts per event with insights that have unparalleled depth especially in the nascent but rapidly growing US sports betting market.

Already, GTG Network has begun working with Penn National Gaming in a bid to assist the Barstool Sportsbook mobile app in its quest to dominate the sports betting market in the United States.

“We seek to build fun, engaging, and unique sports betting and gaming product experiences, and the iSports Genius data product complements that strategy, said Jon Kaplowitz, Head of Penn Interactive. We are excited to be partnered with GTG Network, and look forward to utilizing their services as we scale the Barstool Sportsbook product across the U.S.”

Nathan Rothschild, co-founder, and partner, GTG Network.

The partnership will extend to all of the states where the Barstool Sportsbook app will be launched in.

What to Expect from The App

As mentioned earlier, the sports betting app’s is still in its testing phase – this is going to come to an end today, September 17, after which the wider sports betting audience will have access to its offerings. Participation in this test-phase required an invite as the operator was looking to keep it as small as possible. However, reports from the early looks at the app are quite promising, to say the least.

In addition to including the standard wagering and in-game wagering options, players will also have access to cross-sport parlays, numerous prop bets, futures, money lines, and teasers. The app also offers some exclusive products that make it stand out from all of the other sports betting operators in the Keystone State.
