Pennsylvania’s gaming market continued its strong run in February, with total revenue reaching $547.1 million, up 14.6% year-on-year, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. The headline number was again driven by online gaming, which has now firmly established itself as the core engine of growth across the state.
iGaming Streak Extends Beyond $300M
Online casinos generated $300.6 million in February, marking a 14.9% increase from the same period last year. The total dipped slightly from January’s $316.2 million, though the shorter calendar month played a role.
The result makes it five consecutive months that Pennsylvania’s iGaming revenue has exceeded $300 million. The streak began in October and has remained intact through February, with December still holding the all-time monthly record at $324.3 million.
Online slots continued to dominate, contributing $252.1 million of the total. Table games added $46.2 million, while online poker remained a smaller segment at $2.2 million. After accounting for $60.6 million in promotional deductions, adjusted online revenue came in at $239.9 million.
Top Operators Continue to Pull Ahead
The state’s reporting structure groups results by license holder rather than individual brands, which highlights the scale of multi-platform operators.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the online segment with $114.1 million, reflecting a 19.9% increase. Its license supports multiple major platforms, including DraftKings, BetMGM, and Fanatics, contributing to its dominant position.
Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $85.6 million, up 15.8%, supported in part by its partnership with FanDuel. Rivers Casino Philadelphia ranked third with $46.1 million, posting steady double-digit growth.
Among mid-tier operators, Caesars Interactive stood out with nearly 50% year-on-year growth, while Mohegan Sun Pocono recorded the fastest percentage increase, despite operating from a smaller base.
Retail Gaming Growth Slows Behind Digital Shift
Land-based performance remains stable but continues to lag behind digital expansion. Slot revenue across Pennsylvania rose just over 3%, a modest increase compared to the rapid gains seen online.
Parx Casino remained the top slot operator with $29.4 million, though growth was limited. Wind Creek Bethlehem delivered a stronger performance with a 6.2% increase, showing that some properties are still finding ways to grow on-site play.
A Market Defined by Digital Momentum
February’s results may be the clearest hint of a clear trend. Pennsylvania’s casino market is increasingly shaped by online gaming, where scale, accessibility, and higher margins continue to drive performance.
Operators with strong digital ecosystems are widening the gap, while retail-heavy models face a slower growth curve. With iGaming consistently clearing the $300 million mark, the state’s trajectory suggests further expansion will continue to be led online.
