Renowned worldwide online gambling operator and the leading live betting sportsbook, PointsBet has recently received the award for the top sports betting operator at the EGR North America Awards 2022 for the second year in a row. The award comes as a result of the company’s unwavering commitment, impressive scale and development, capacity to innovate and distinguish, dedication to responsible gambling, marketing quality, as well as its market-leading product quality.

This is, of course, a big deal for both the company and its growing list of partners across North America. It not only proves that it has what it takes to compete with other rivals in the territories but also shows that the company is not backing down from the momentum it started with.

“We extend our sincere thanks to the judges, sponsors, industry colleagues, and entire EGR team for the recognition and validation of our hard work in the past year, which featured PointsBet extending its operations further across North America to jurisdictions like New York, Pennsylvania, and Ontario. Looking at the opportunity ahead, we are excited to continue proving our vision and ability to execute.”

Johnny Aitken, PointsBet USA CEO

As it stands, the company has operations in Australia, the United States, Canada, and Ireland. It is also publicly traded on the Australian Stock Exchange. It boasts of a scalable cloud-based betting infrastructure that allows it to provide unique world-class sports and racing wagering products, as well as advance deposit wagering and iGaming to its massive customer base.

Plans for Pennsylvania and Other Markets

With such a solid reputation, it will not be surprising to see more interest in PointsBet’s products and services in the Keystone State. Following the introduction of the company’s mobile app and digital sports betting product in the state earlier this year, PointsBet announced the launch of its online casino product in Pennsylvania a little over a week ago.

Apart from Pennsylvania, the operator has also shown interest in other North American markets. PointsBet that it would be among the first operators to start in Ontario’s new iGaming market. This new market officially went live on April 4 and continues to show a lot of potential.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has already approved PointsBet as an internet gaming sports betting operator.
