The Cordish Gaming Group Launches Online Casino in Pennsylvania

While the Cordish Gaming Group, one of the biggest gaming operators in the United States, prepares to launch two new gaming venues in the Keystone State, it has decided to fast track its plans for an online gambling site. In addition to the Live! Casino Pittsburgh and Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia which are still in the works are set to be a big deal considering the rapid growth of the market. However, the operator is certainly not willing to miss out on the online gambling cake.

Cordish has this week launched the testing phase for its playlive.com online gaming site. As expected, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is overseeing this phase of the launch to ensure that everything is spick and span before giving the green light for full operations. If it passes the testing phase, it will be available permanently to the wider Pennsylvanian gambling audience on Friday.

What to Expect

For the online gambling venture, the Cordish Gaming Group has partnered with GAN, a renowned gaming technology solutions provider. GAN world-class B2N solutions will thus be powering the online casino. This will include the integration of the solution’s providers patented iBridge Framework. As such, online gamers in the state can look forward to a truly exhilarating gambling experience.

“With our established relationship, GAN was the logical provider of our enterprise platform for launching real money Internet gambling and offers Cordish the ability to extend on-property rewards into the online channel, which has been shown to increase loyalty amongst players of simulated Gaming.”

Players can already create accounts on the site and play some of the amazing games on the site. More of these iGaming titles are certainly going to come to the platform as time progresses but we will have to wait until the site is approved for full operations.

High Hopes for Pennsylvanian Gambling Market

As mentioned earlier, the online gambling industry in Pennsylvania and the United States as a whole has been growing quite significantly. Pennsylvania just recently released some revenue figures and already things are looking up for the iGaming sector.

Retail gambling did take a hit due to the ongoing pandemic but there are already plans to reopen. Several gambling and entertainment venues have already opened and are currently operating in accordance with strict safety protocols. Besides that, new gaming venues such as the two new Cordish Gaming casinos are slowly shaping up and should go live very soon. Gamblers certainly have a lot to look forward to and the state is also going to benefit significantly from the new tax revenue streams.
