The long wait has finally come to an end as BetMGM which is one of the fastest-growing brands in the United States has finally launched its online gaming offering in the Keystone State. After building up anticipation through various partnerships, the iGaming brand has followed through with its plans of venturing into Pennsylvania’s very lucrative gambling sector thus giving gamblers in the state one more option as far as online betting is concerned.

Full Launch Coming on December 4

As always, any new online gambling operator has to undergo a three-day testing phase that is overseen by the Pennsylvanian Gaming Control Board (PGCB). This is no different with BetMGM – the online betting operator’s testing phase began on Tuesday, December 1, and will be coming to an end today – Thursday, November 3.

During this test phase, only a small number of games have been available to players. Moreover, the online gambling site has only been available for a few hours every day. This is pretty standard procedure in Pennsylvania so players need not worry about that being the norm after today.

If things go according to plan, BetMGM will receive the green light to proceed with full operations on December 4. Given the operator’s stellar reputation in states like New Jersey where it is already making some waves, it is very likely that it will be allowed to launch its operations fully in the state.

While there are a lot of great things to look forward to from BetMGM, gamblers in Pennsylvania will need to manage their expectations especially if they prefer sports betting or online poker. When it goes live, the BetMGM offering will be a stand-alone casino app, at least for the time being. Sports betting is unlikely to come to the app but there might be a possibility for the arrival of online poker through the operator’s site or app.

Lots of Goodies for Customers

Naturally, BetMGM will have to bank on more than its reputation to attract more customers in Pennsylvania. That said, the operator has crafted a pretty enticing welcome offer for the state’s market. New customers will have access to a welcome offer that includes $25 in free play as well as a massive 100 percent deposit match up to a whopping $1,000. Now that will be hard to resist.

In addition to that, the operator is also running a Pennsylvania Launch Party Sweepstakes promotion where the players can earn entries for every $20 that they wager on table games or slots. A lucky player will then receive a luxury pickup truck worth $32,750 after the first week of the site’s launch.
